Private accommodation and visits in and around Roskilde - 10 nights
I have been a beekeeper for over 40 years in Roskilde. It has always been a hobby. Today I have 5 hives – 3 hives are in our small park which is part of our residential area and 2 hives are placed at a local restaurant.
My wife and I have always met kindness when have met beekeepers around the world. A hospitality we ourselves like to offer other beekeepers.
We have a guest room with a double bed and can accommodate a couple.
From Wednesday 18. September until Monday 22. September (before Apimondia 2025) a group of local beekeepers has made a complete program for the days – we call it TOUR DE GRAB:
You will meet many different local beekeepers.
You will visit Denmark’s largest king’s hall, Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum.
You will see our local bee school where future beekeepers learns to keep bees.
You will visit a local mead brewery.
Every evening you will cook and eat it together with other beekeepers – Danish and foreigners.
All entrances, food and drink are included in the price from Wednesday afternoon to Monday evening.
When Apimondia 2025 starts – Tuesday 23 September, you will still be staying with us until Saturday 27 September or Sunday. You will get breakfast, but there is no program under Apimondia 2025. You must provide your own transport, lunch and dinner. It will take around 45 minutes to get to Apimondia or Copenhagen City by bus and train.
It will cost DKK 6,000 in cash for a couple, which is paid on your arrival.
